The foundation of DPES is the result of the expertise developed over a 10 year quest for excellence in the field of education. It marks a giant step in the direction of shaping myriad hued dreams and turning them into achievable reality. At DPES, we provide our students with facilities to give them a world class educational experience. Our college motivates them to excel in their chosen fields under the able guidance of our committed faculty.

We have been in the field of education for the past decade. In this last decade I have had the dream of putting together an authentic, vibrant and reliable institute operating in a region surrounded by the Pune IT hub. I experience a feeling of great satisfaction to be a part of DPES, whose belief is the creation of an educational hub providing opportunities to talented students.
We started our college with the vision of providing quality education to rural and urban youth. Well-designed infrastructure, world class engineering laboratories, focus on quality education and industry interaction, boosting academic performances through institute scholarships, keen interest in research, investing in faculty development and continuous improvements are the hallmarks of DPES. एक साधे, जमिनीशी जोडलेले आणि लोकाभिमुख नेते म्हणून श्री उल्हास बाळकृष्ण ढोले पाटील हे आपल्या प्रामाणिक सेवाभावासाठी ओळखले जातात. त्यांनी नगरसेवक म्हणून सलग सहा वेळा निवडून येत लोकांचा अपार विश्वास संपादन केला आहे. म्हणून त्यांनी शहराच्या विकासासाठी आणि नागरिकांच्या कल्याणासाठी अखंड परिश्रम घेतले.
राजकारणाबरोबरच त्यांची समाजा बद्दलची बांधिलकीही तितकीच दृढ आहे. त्यांनी समाजातील युवकांना शिक्षणाच्या माध्यमातून सक्षम बनवण्यासाठी अनेक शैक्षणिक संस्था स्थापन केल्या. समाजाच्या सर्वांगीण प्रगतीसाठी त्यांचे कार्य हे प्रामाणिकपणा, दूरदृष्टी आणि समाजसेवेचे उत्तम उदाहरण आहे.

एक नामांकित राजकारणी आणि समाजकार्याबद्दल आग्रही असलेल्या समाजसेविका — यांनी आपले संपूर्ण आयुष्य जनसेवा आणि समाजकल्याणासाठी समर्पित केले आहे. त्या सलग तीन वेळा नगरसेविका म्हणून निवडून आल्या आणि नंतर राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेस पक्षाच्या वतीने आमदार म्हणूनही कार्य केले.
सर्वांमधे प्रेमाने “नानी” म्हणून ओळखल्या जाणाऱ्या श्रीमती कमल ढोले पाटील या आपल्या करुणा, प्रामाणिकपणा आणि समाजसेवेतील अविरत कार्यासाठी आदराने गौरविल्या जातात. कुटुंबकेंद्रित, प्रेमळ आणि दयाळू स्वभावाच्या नानी समाजउन्नतीसाठीच्या आपल्या निष्ठा आणि कार्यामुळे आजही अनेक पिढ्यांना प्रेरणा देत आहेत.
